Meet our Teachers
Emmy Boesch
Program Director
Emmy is a life-long learner and homeschooling mother to six. Emmy earned a bachelors degree from Illinois State University in Family and Consumer Sciences and then worked a whirlwind few years in the apparel industry at companies such as Lands’ End and divisions of The Limited, Inc. In a major lifestyle shift, Emmy then spent 12 years as a stay-at-home mom enjoying her growing family. Emmy came to I-Power for a part time job in 2012 and has developed and managed several programs over the years. She currently serves as the Director of Camps and Gym ‘N Learn. She has homeschooled her six children for the last 18 years and has graduated her three oldest.
Emmy loves and appreciates the uniqueness of children and enjoys each stage for what it brings. In her time away from I-Power, Emmy continues homeschooling her remaining 3 children at-home, spending time with her husband Scott, catching up with her College kiddos, and doing all things creative – whether it be cooking, art, or craft projects.
Jenna Bunte
Teacher/Instructor
Jenna grew up in Champaign. She started taking gymnastics lessons at age 3, and began coaching at 15 – first at Lifelines Gymnastics, then at I-Power. She has an associate degree in early childhood education from Parkland College, and a bachelors degree in elementary education from Illinois State University. In 2014, she married her best friend (Kevin), and they moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to begin a new chapter together. In her time there, Jenna taught preschool. She also started and ran her own gymnastics program for her school. Though she enjoyed her time in Tuscaloosa, she is thrilled to be back in the city and the gym that she loves!
She is passionate about instilling in children a love of learning, and helping them reach their highest potential intellectually, socially, and physically. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, hiking, gardening, spending time with her family and friends, playing with her boys (Will and Olen), and snuggling with her dog. Jenna is our Preschool Gymnastics program director.
